our dear college friends tony and kate have a nearly 4-year-old, jake, and twin boys, luke and alex, born just 10 days before nellie. lucky for us, tony spends part of his day at home with the twins, and we have enjoyed recurrent playdates with them that include some mallwalking, often agonizing over sleep patterns and baby eating haibts, and a visit to the playplace, which is getting more and more interesting as everyone is becoming much more mobile. the above is the best i could do to get the young ones in the same frame! once upon a time we were agonizing over whether to make social work a major--i'm quite sure neither tony and i could have predicted that THIS is how we would be hanging out together a few years down the road...!

Wow, that's quite the stroller you've got there. I've never seen a double-decker like that!
