when dad and gail went away to play on the beach for a week (insert sigh of pity here), we ventured to CR to hang out with hannah for a few days, where we hardly saw the gal she's so busy, but we did get to make her these cupcakes with cow sprinkles for her birthday. we also visited the great-grandparens again, where the piano was the biggest hit. it is so fun seeing them interact more and more and do some things together. and we also had the treat of spending time with extended family and old friends, including a visit with our former housemate, polly, and her family. our two youngests were born just a couple weeks apart, and it was delightful to compare notes on family-of-fourdom. maybe it wasn't exactly a resort, but we totally dug having new surroundings for a few days...
