this afternoon, after naps for all (not surprising for daddy, an unbelievable treat for mommy) brit took mike and theo over to the putting green on the cart while grammy, nellie, and myself went to meet them on foot. i love the one shot of theo because in shadow you can see nellie's head leaning out of the back of the ergo carrier--she has been happy as a clam in that thing most of the day today! the boys even went to play a few holes while us ladies had some juice and sat outside at the clubhouse. we then had a lovely salmon dinner and now i'm posting this with a glass of wine by my side (have i said i love vacation enough yet?) and following this will come a rousing game of scrabble (though not quite as rousing, hopefully, as the last time i played with mom, which put me into labor). cheers!
