came on an unexpectedly gorgeous night last week. poor mike had parent-teacher conferences, and poor tisa was in desperate need of new ways to spend the long evening hours! we ended up at a favorite park, eating dinner and enjoying the playground. as a special treat, there happened to be football practice going on at a nearby field, thus providing our after-dinner entertainment. the kids looked to be in their first year of tackle, and so they were going over the fundamentals of doing so...theo was sure enthralled, but his mom resolved right then to get the kid into piano lessons as soon as possible.
