four years ago, i attended a kerry rally in des moines the saturday before election day. i am full of HOPE our attendance at an obama rally on the friday before election day will not bring similar luck! thanks to our supermama friend lisa, theo and reed were entertained enough to make it through a really long wait in a very crowded space, but we all agreed it was well worth it at this historic time. thank you lisa because that really was some seriously kamikaze parenting! i was particularly inspired by a woman we chatted with there who is probably in her 50s--she was proud to tell us that she registered and voted this year for the 1st time in her life! can't believe there are only 4 days to go...
